AGRICULTURE IN ISLAM

VIRTUE OF MUSLIM FARMERS

Being a farmer is a noble profession. A noble profession because farmers will benefit others by providing food for them. Even Alloh creatures may He be glorified as herbivores, carnivores and pengurai any benefit from agricultural activities carried out farmers.

And the Glory of farmers will increase if he is a Muslim. Because he got the rewards and reward pertanianannya abundance of activities. So Glory that he can not only in this world but also in the hereafter.

In this discussion I will bring the hadith virtue of Muslim farmers.

1. Jabir bin ‘Abdullah Rodhiyallohu’ anhu she told me that the Prophet Shollallohu ‘alaihi wa sallam said:

ما من مسلم يغرس غرسا إلا كان ما أكل منه له صدقة و ما سرق منه له صدقة و ما أكلت الطير فهو له صدقة و لا يرزؤه أحد إلا كان له صدقة

“It is not a Muslim but planted a crop what to eat from the plant as a charity for him, and what was stolen from these plants as a charity for him and it does not belong to a reduced but a charity for him.” (Narrated by Imam Muslim Hadith no.1552)

2. From Anas ibn Malik Rodhiyallohu ‘anhu that the Messenger Shollallohu’ alaihi wa sallam said:

ما من مسلم يغرس غرسا, أو يزرع زرعا فيأكل منه طير أو إنسان أو بهيمة إلا كان له به صدقة

“It is not a Muslim plant trees, nor plant crops are then eaten by birds, humans or animals, but (the plant) to charity for him.” (Narrated by Imam Bukhari Hadith no.2321)

3. Jabir bin ‘Abdullah Rodhiyallohu’ anhu he said, has said the Prophet Shollallohu ‘alaihi wa sallam:

فلا يغرس المسلم غرسا فيأكل منه إنسان و لا دابة و لا طير إلا كان له صدقة إلى يوم القيامة

“It is not a Muslim and then plant the plants eaten by humans, animals or birds, but the plant was a charity for him until the Day of Resurrection.” (Narrated by Imaam Muslim Hadith no.1552 (10))

Shaykh Uthaymeen rohimahulloh explained that these hadiths are the arguments that suggested the Prophet clear shollallohu ‘alaihi wa sallam to grow crops, because in farming there are 2 benefits are benefits the world and the benefits of religion.

First: The advantages are the World (dunyawiyah) of the plant is producing the production (food provided). Because of farming, which could take advantage, in addition to farmers themselves are also the people and country. Look at each person consumes the agricultural products both vegetables and fruits, and crops bijiian all of which are their needs. They are willing to spend money because they need to farm products. So the people who grow crops has provided benefits by providing the things people needed. So that the results into benefits for the plant communities and increased the goodness-kindness.

I (compiler) add: “Even the benefits are not limited to providers of food for other people but also with plant also makes the environment more healthy for humans, where the fresh air because the plants produce the oxygen needed by humans for respiratory processes. Plants of the trees also provide shade for those who take shelter under it, the coolness of those around him. Plants also make a nice landscape and beautiful to look at. Look at the expanse of land covered by vegetation would be happy to see her heart, was a peaceful feeling around him. As if seeing the land stretch of dry and barren of plants that we would get the opposite feeling. ”

Second: Benefits that are religious (diniyyah) is a reward or reward. Indeed we are planting crops when consumed by humans, either animals or other birds, although only a single seed, actually it is a charity for the planter, the same thing if he wants it or not, even if it meant that a person does not care when planting this case (case of what is eaten from the plant is alms) and then in the event of the plants eaten by then it remains a charity for him.

Thus we can conclude that Muslims will get a reward from the treasure was stolen, confiscated or destroyed on the condition he remain patient and leave everything to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.

Saliem Sheikh bin ‘Ied al-Hilali added that the third hafizhohulloh hadith indicates the command to plant trees and other plants, as well as cultivating virtue (making productive) the earth and it includes practices that reward does not end with the death of the perpetrator. Hadith also shows that trying to give the creature manfa’at Allaah and facilitate business and meet all their needs. Also indicates permissibility of professions to develop a useful way (agricultural), trade, industry and other professions as well as an argument against people who self-zuhud Sufi. The existing restrictions on such things mean if the work of the neglect of one’s religious affairs and if he makes the world a primary objective and the highest level of their knowledge. It happened in a condition to multiply wealth of the world.

Shaykh al-‘Uthaymeen rohimahulloh adding that such ahadith also show the number of good roads and that what humans can benefit from the goodness of the perpetrators will get the reward. Whether intended or not by the person. As word of Allaah:

لا خير في كثر من نجوىهم إلا من أمر بصدقة أو معروف أو إصلاح بين الناس و من يفعل ذلك ابتغاء مرضات الله فسوف نؤتيه أجرا عظيما

“There is no good in most of their whispers, but whispers from people who had to give alms, or doing good or making peace among mankind, and barangsiap who do this because the expected pleasure of Allah, but soon gave Kamiakan a great reward. “(Surat An-Nisa: 114)

Allaah mentions that cases in which either contain the goodness you intend it or not, whoever made for charity, peace between man (the dispute) then that is a good and benevolence meniatkan or not. And if it’s intended for expecting God’s face, then Allaah said, ‘Then one day we will give him a great reward. ”

In this hadith is also the argument that it is something that has benefits and benefits then people take advantage of it is good for the perpetrator if he does not meniatkan, and if it is intended that bertambahlah kindness with kindness again, and God gave him the virtue of a reward.

Of the three above hadith lessons can be drawn that the actions carried out a Muslim who in reality is only a thing that Mubah, namely farming, but the perpetrators can get the reward. Although it was originally not a valuable service but they can worship and be rewarded. Unlike the pagans everything he does is not worth the side of Allaah, even though they claim they worship each month, every week, every day even every side is not considered sa’at Allaah as a service. So this hadeeth is a virtue theorem Islamic religion and becomes meruginya infidels.

Verily all things matter for a Muslim is to be valued and have good worship sebagaiman narrated from Abu Yahya bin Shuhaib Sinan Rodhiyallohu ‘anhu he said, has said the Prophet Shollallohu’ alaihi wa sallam:

عجبا لأمر المؤمن إن أمره كله خير و ليس ذلك لأحد إلا للمؤمن: إن أصابته سراء شكر فكان خيرا له, و إن أصابته ضراء صبر فكان خيرا له

“It’s amazing the things a true believer is the case all her goodness, and it was not obtained but by a believer: if he’s having fun (good) he was grateful then that is good for him, and if trouble (calamity) and he happened to be patient, it will be good for him. “(Narrated by Imaam Muslim Righteous Riyadhush see books of hadith No.27)

Shaykh Uthaymeen rohimahulloh also added that this case is wonderful. That is if there is a thief steals a person plants, for example, there is an come to a palm tree and then stole dates. So for the owner actually get the reward of dates for these dates theft event. While on the other hand if he knew who the thief so he should be reported to the authorities.

Why can all the planted crops is charity? This does not contradict even according to religious rules are rules that a person will not get the good (reward or reward) but the results of his own, and vice versa person will not bear the sins of others. So if we look at our plants is the result of good business that will be a charity even if eaten or taken without our permission.

How good explanation Ustadz Abdul Hakim bin Amir Abdat hafizhohulloh follows: “If we have to understand this rule is a question and expose terjawablah-kemusykilan is kemusykilan and roomy chest in understanding the verses of the Qur’an which confirm that the person will not get the good ( reward and reward) unless the results of his own. Among them is the famous verses below:

و أن ليس للإنسان إلا ما سعى

“And that person is not going to get (good) but the results of his own efforts.” (Surat An-Najm: 39).

The above verse is a general rule ilmiyyah and remain in keumumannya and do not receive an exception (takhshish) who did not exist at all: that one will not get any reward or reward unless the results of his own.

As someone planted a tree or plant, then what is eaten from the fruit trees or plants are planted, either by permission of the owner or stolen, either (eaten) by humans or animals or the owners undoubtedly would have planted them rewarded. ”

Indeed crops stolen or destroyed or eaten by animals also is the result of the efforts of farmers is if he deserves a reward from the plant that escaped from his hands (he can not harvest).
